This wonderful peak is situated above the Manang valley together with Chulu west peak. It can be viewed from Ledar while we progress our trek to Thorong pass 5416m. This is standing in the range of Damodar Himal range between Annapurna region and Mustang region. We follow the left route from Ledar to go in Chulu East base camp along the yak trails to install tented camp. Some climbers can summit this peak from base camp also if they are very strong physically to walk in altitude though it is tougher. Otherwise, we have to install camping in high camp to make easier to take summit of Chulu East. We can see the breathtaking views of Annapurna range, Gangapurna peak, Tilicho peak, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri range, Manaslu etc. We can be combined this peak with round Annapurna trek or Tilicho Mesokanto pass after ascending it.
